Giant bag seen in Glasgow
Kommando has created buzz for TK Maxx's launch of its latest flagship superstore.
Kommando designed a campaign to generate hype and excitement around the store, which became the largest TK Maxx in country when it opened today.
Over the past 2 weeks shoppers have been approached by Kommando promotional staff in the form of TK Maxx hit squads around the streets of Glasgow. The squads distributed promotional collateral to a target audience and gave branded ponchos to busy shopping crowds.
The activity peaked at the weekend when a giant special-build bag appeared in the city centre, creating buzz and excitement. In addition to the custom made bag Kommando technology ‘NomadiX’ hand held projectors shone giant TK Maxx advertisements onto various city centre buildings.
More activity was planned today with dance crew ‘Flying Jalepenos” due to appear. Kommando brand ambassadors were on hand to drive potential customers into the store, offering free £10 off vouchers and goodie bags to the first 1000, as well as hot chocolate in branded TK Maxx mugs.
Kommando managing director Mark Evans said “TK Maxx is an exciting brand and they have received our creative insight and ideas with open arms."
