Contact co-operates to help launch i newspaper
Through two weeks in January Contact Field Marketing and Solutions helped launch i, the sister newspaper to the Independent with a field marketing intallation campaign focussed on Co-op strores. Results in showed a 99.5% coverage was gained by the agency
Contact Field Marketing and Solutions were selected to site 1320 plinths in Co-op stores nation wide. The plinths were to be placed onto the newspaper shelf in store in order to increase brand awareness of the i newspaper and to act as a space saver when the i newspaper is not on sale or out of stock.
The i newspaper s’ dedicated Account Manager selected a team of 136 experienced merchandising staff from the CFM&S national database. Each merchandiser was given a call file to work to within their own postcode areas. CFM&S staff sited the plinths as per planogram and reported feedback on a daily basis.
