tomaszdyl PR wins Euro field marketing contract for MoneyGram
tomaszdyl PR has been selected for the field marketing account for the money transfer firm MoneyGram after a three-way agency pitch. The key objective is to drive through brand awareness of MoneyGram and their services by using an integrated marketing campaign centred on brand ambassador teams. Face to face work, including POS placement and merchandising will form at least 60% of the activity.
Tomasz Dyl told Fieldmarketing that the main campaign was being backed up by a secondary objective: “Also, our Business Development Team, managed by Nick Goulding (account & business development director) will be working closely with MoneyGram to increase the number of independent outlets in the UK.”
Starting from May and throughout the summer, a team of brand ambassadors will run various campaigns in different resorts in Spain and France as well as targeted activity in Poland, Germany and the UK.
Says Dyl “One of the reasons, why we were selected is because of experience within the money transfer market. Previously we have worked with Western Union and RIA Financial Services and have managed campaigns that were targeted at members of the ethnic minorities. We have learnt a lot about their culture, buying habits and the way we should communicate with them.”
tomaszdyl PR has established a reputation for effective targeted reach using brand ambassadors. In March the agency will position itself through the strapline the "Art of communication".
