Brandscape appointed to introduce the new MG
MG Motor UK has appointed Brandscape to handle the dealer launch events for its new MG 6 model. Designed and developed in Birmingham, the MG 6 is the first all - new MG model developed since the brand was purchased by Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.
Brandscape won the account in a four-way pitch.
The agency will create a series of unique launch events for MG Motor’s employees and dealer staff. Based at the firm’s headquarters at MG Birmingham, these events will provide the first opportunity for dealer staff to drive the MG 6 in the UK and will communicate MG’s brand values, product features and target market.
A second wave of events will allow selected customers to put the latest MG 6 through its paces at a private proving ground.
To support the launch events, Brandscape is creating a series of video films featuring the MG 6 and presented by motoring commentator Quentin Willson.

Work has already started on the filming and event pre-production. The MG 6 goes on sale in the UK from April.
