Mobile Promotion's mobile exhibition goes on tour
Mobile Promotions Event Trailers and Structures has been appointed by Dream Marketing International Ltd. to undertake a Pan-European Automotive roadshow this spring, visiting major automotive Design and Development facilities throughout Europe..
The month long tour allows 24 major suppliers to the Automotive Industry the opportunity to take a booth inside Mobile Promotions’ state of the art expandable trailer. This gives them the chance to showcase their technologies, innovations, products and services to a receptive industry audience in places where access would often have been restricted or even denied.
John Aldridge, Managing Director of Dream Marketing explained:
“By taking the exhibition directly to the customers the exhibitor can reach Engineers, Purchasing and Senior Management who rarely get a chance these days to visit the more traditional trade show.”
Mobile Promotions is managing all the logistics of the tour which goes from the UK to Belgium and 13 locations throughout Germany over 20 days, covering approx 3,500 miles. It visits Bentley, Aston Martin, Land Rover, Nissan, Hyundai, Toyota and Ford, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Opel and Honda as well as Tier one Suppliers such as Johnson Controls, TRW and ZF Friedrichshafen.
The exhibition takes place in Mobile Promotions’ expandable trailer which 13.6m long and 2.5m wide when in transit, but once at an event expands to give approximately 80sq metres of floor space – the largest internal space of any such trailer in the UK.
Colin Allder, Logistics Manager at Mobile Promotions explained:
“This is a cost effective way for exhibitors to cover a whole industry in a short space of time and is more environmentally friendly than those same visitors all travelling to a venue.
“From arrival on site set up is completed within less than one hour with hydraulic systems to manoeuvre the trailer from ‘tour’ status into the innovative exhibition environment. The trailer has been uniquely designed to need only a single person operation and all displays and furniture travel within the unit ready to be unpacked upon arrival.
“This is the only way to go to reduce budget/costs and be on target for our eco/green achievements.”
