Wand wins Peugeot 3008 experiential work
Peugeot has appointed Wand Agency to handle the £1m experiential campaign for the 3008 Crossover following a six way pitch.
With the objectives of building awareness of the 3008 and encouraging consumers to try out the technologically advanced crossover vehicle leading to purchase the campaign will start in May 2011.
Wand developed the creative idea and are working closely with existing Peugeot agencies to implement a campaign which includes broadcast, extreme ambient, experiential, social and digital elements.
‘We needed innovative creative proposals as an alternative to just running our usual TV and press campaigns for our 3008 model’ says Oliver Griffin, manager, retail communications at Peugeot. ‘We are effectively relaunching the model to boost awareness and get people in the car...because once they experience it, they love it!’ We prepared a general brief, and were not specific about the route to market – and the multi channel work Wand produced was spot on!’
