Savvy wins two marketing awards in a week
Marketing agency Savvy has won two prestigious design awards in the space of one week. The Grassroots Sports Sponsorship Award at the Hollis Sponsorship Awards on the 29th March was closely followed by being voted as Best in Events at the RAR Awards on 31st March.
Savvy is a national marketing agency that works with a number of FMCG, brand and retail clients. The company was founded in Leeds by CEO Catherine Shuttleworth and is undergoing rapid expansion with an office recently opened in London.
The Hollis Sponsorship Award recognises creativity and innovation in ideas and execution across all sectors of the sponsorship industry. Savvy took the gold in the Grassroots Sports Sponsorship Award for the Asda Sporting Chance Scheme. Savvy created a long term, sustainable, community commitment campaign to give children from as young as 6 months to 18 years of age access to free sports sessions during the school holidays as part of a campaign to tackle childhood obesity. Since its launch in 2008, 125,000 children have taken part and 6 million vouchers for free sport have been given away in store.
The RAR Awards are the official ceremony of the Recommended Agency Register, celebrating excellence in marketing and service. This award voted for entirely by clients, who are invited to leave a rating on the company of their choice’s online profile. Savvy scooped the award for the Best in Events.
Catherine Shuttleworth, comments:
“Winning two awards in one week is an amazing achievement for our team which we are extremely proud of. It’s great to gain acknowledgment from the industry for all our dedication and hard work."
