Sponsor121 the sponsorship search engine gets underway
Sponsor121 is a new search engine that connects brand managers with innovative sponsorship ideas.
Through research, Sponsor121 identified a major problem in the way that sponsors and rights-holders currently connect.
Robert Jackson, managing director of Sponsor121, says “Our research showed that sponsors were frustrated by the emails, calls and sales tactics they faced daily. Rights-holders were also frustrated at spending huge amounts of time and money producing sponsorship proposals that never got to the decision maker”.
Sponsor121 solves that problem by providing an innovative method for the two parties to connect:
- Sponsors can search anytime for proposals, and see key commercial information including marketing reach, target market and creative ideas
- Rights-holders can set up one proposal and connect with brand decision makers at key times of year.
The company is seeing promising results, with The Rugby Football League, Cheltenham Racecourses, National Portrait Gallery and the British Film Institute already registered, also aims to:
- Bring more transparency to the sponsorship industry
- Create a standardised process for researching sponsorship opportunities
