The Carphone Warehouse extends RedPrairie's Execution Management Tool

RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity solutions provider, announced today that following the successful implementation of its Execution Management solution in 815 UK stores, The Carphone Warehouse (CPW) is rolling the solution out to a further 1,000 colleagues in its telesales and customer support channels.

RedPrairie’s Execution Management (EM) solution supports the execution of corporate tasks and operational activities across the business, providing real-time visibility and information to help ensure compliance, consistent execution, timely reporting and improved cost control.

CPW originally implemented RedPrairie’s EM solution to automate the delivery of actionable communications to stores and provide visibility of task completion by stores, freeing up time previously spent by support centre staff and regional general managers issuing and following up communications.

The solution also provides a task management dashboard to branch managers. This provides visibility of tasks like point of sale changes, product launches, promotions and product recalls, by importance and deadline, which enables forward planning and workload management.

Senior channel operations manager at The Carphone Warehouse Jane Middleton Jones, said:

In line with CPW’s commitment to creating ‘a connected world’, RedPrairie has also developed Apple and Android apps to allow CPW’s field managers to use the system on the move.
