Kate Braxton set to direct Disrupt
Reach is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Braxton as managing director of its experiential agency, Disrupt. Disrupt will be a part of Reach, the leading shopper marketing and contract sales company.
Formerly client services director at Acclaim (now Crown Business Communications), Kate has held longstanding posts as vice president-creative communications, EMEA at BCD Meetings and Incentives, and also as head of production at Talking Point.
With Chris Cowman as head of experiential, Kate will support the increasing growth of creative brand experiences Reach’s clients are undertaking and provide strategic direction for the development of the business. She brings with her a wealth of experience working with global brands on communication programmes and events for consumers, internal and stakeholder audiences.
Disrupt has had recent success with a number of exciting experiential programmes for Reach's major clients and plans to extend its proposition for press, dealer and end consumers. Disrupt will engage in immersive, joined-up campaigns, leveraging the unique, robust planning and insight measurement tools that Reach has been implementing effectively for its clients for many years. Part of Disrupt's remit will be to enable businesses and brands to obtain meaningful ROI through its creative solutions at festivals, raising brand awareness in high footfall spaces or launching products in the most unique venues.
Gary Mac Manus, managing director at Reach adds, “We are delighted that Kate is joining us to build our "Disrupt" business. The strategy that Kate has been working on prior to joining is revolutionary and daring. Exciting times are ahead for us and our clients.”
