The Instore show sees GlaxoSmithKline, Nokia and Unilever take the stage
The Instore Show, presented this year as part of Marketing Week Live, sees a mixed bag of attractions in terms of relevance for field marketers this year – 29th – 30th June, Grand Hall, Olympia.
From the conference programme two presentations stand out as likely to interest field marketers, notably Lydia Freeman and Louise Williams, shopper marketing managers for GlaxoSmithKline, who will present ‘How to engage shoppers and enhance their instore shopping experience using the launch of Panadol Advance.’ This will be presented on 30th at 12.00-12.45. The second presentation that stands out is Jeremy Wright, head of business program, Nokia who will discuss: ‘Driving your online traffic instore: how mobile coupons and bridging the digital divide.’ (11-11.45, 29th June)
Two other presentations may appeal to specialist field marketers: Nick Widdowson, merchandising manager, Unilever will talk about ‘sustainability in marketing at retail’ (3pm-3.45pm, 30th June). At 4pm on 29th an intriguing presentation is titled ‘Turning the tobacco ban into an opportunity for retailers and brands’. This is presented by James Lowman, CEO, Association of Convenience Stores and Peter Ward, business development director, Ejector Calibrated Displays.
