Carnaby pioneers colour QR codes with Sister
The new colour branded QR Code designed for Carnaby, London W1 is proving to be a huge success having already increased the hit rate to carnaby.co.uk by 258% when launched at the beginning of May 2011.
Carnaby, one of London's leading shopping destinations for fashion and lifestyle has noticed a positive spike in visits to carnaby.co.uk directly attributed to the tracking system written into its code, proving the consumer is noticing it far more than the previous monochrome QR codes.
Purposefully integrating Turquoise, Orange, Blue, Purple and Pink within its data pattern, the new QR Code boldly catches the eye and is representative of the latest Carnaby marketing campaign which also uses the same five block colours to identify specific attractions within the Carnaby area.
- Turquoise - Kingly Court
- Orange - Carnaby Street
- Blue - Food and Drink
- Purple - Newburgh Quarter
- Pink - Foubert's Place, Broadwick Street and Beak Street
Created and designed by Carnaby Street based experiential communications agency Sister, the colour branded QR Code can be seen on the latest copy of the Carnaby Essential Guide available from carnaby.co.uk and from all the local retail stores, cafes bars and restaurants within the Carnaby area.
