Upper Street Events to launch Wild Bird Watch Live
A three-day exhibition for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts will be held in London next year providing visitors a one-stop shop to buy, learn and do. The event has aims that are in line with passions of its proposed fanbase.
London Wild Bird Watch Live 2012 will take place from February 24-26th 2012 at the London Wetland Centre in Barnes and is tipped to attract more than 20,000 'twitchers'. The event will combine interactive workshops with a full programme of seminars by celebrity and expert speakers to create the ultimate bird-watching experience.
Companies selling digital cameras and software, gadgets and accessories, outdoor clothing and footwear, books and magazines, and travel and tourism are expected tol benefit from a layout designed to ensure excellent footfall from an eager audience including members of nature organisations Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT), RSPB and NationalTrust.
Celebrity experts including Ellie Harrison, Kate Humble and Simon King will act as visitor 'Guides in the Hides' and host areas of the exhibition including a Camera Suite and Observatory.
Developed by Upper Street Events, the company behind events such as the Gadget Show and Country Living, London Wild Bird Watch Live is open to potential exhibitors with stands available from £1,000.
