HTC trains and demonstrates on tour with Sutherland Smith Group
Sutherland Smith Group (SSG), experts in spatial design, events & production, have worked with HTC, one of the world’s leading handset manufacturers, to create, launch and tour the first HTC UK roadshow. The specially designed trailer provides both consumers and trade staff with the opportunity to interact with the latest HTC headsets and technology, as well as the opportunity to win HTC goodies.
The bespoke trailer visited eleven major cities, kicking off in Manchester on Good Friday (22nd April). The brand experience included a large interactive demo area featuring HTC’s latest handsets, as well as two dedicated training zones focused on training retail staff.
For consumers and trade, HTC’s objective is to provide an immersive brand and product experience. Members of the public were be able to learn about HTC and their products in an
informal and interactive way. Mobile phone retail staff were be able to attend a dedicated 30-minute training session and learn more about the brand and products.
“We are excited to be able to take the HTC brand and the award-winning products direct to UK consumers.” said Roger Smith, managing director, SSG. “It has been fantastic to work on such an important & high-profile project and we’re looking forward to seeing the HTC trailer on the road.”
The roadshow tour was mystery shopped by the Field Marketing team at its final destination, Westfield London at the end of May bank hoiliday. A report will be in the Summer issue of the magazine.
