Wondering Wine debuts Airstream International 534 at Glanusk
The Wondering Wine Company debuted its brand new and bespoke Airstream 534 trailer at the Glanusk Estate Horse Trials in Powys.
Trailer and brand environment specialists Mobile Technik converted the Airstream International 534 for the Wondering Wine Company ready for their summer events. It is one of a kind in the UK and is the first time a new, factory supplied, Airstream trailer has been fitted with a bespoke interior.
The Wondering Wine Company was set up to provide pop up mobile wine bars to the event industry. It has developed a high quality service which specialises in the perfect serving of quality red, white and rose wine at festivals, music events and parties.
The Airstream international 534 has been fitted with a serving hatch, four wine coolers for white and rose wine and wooden shelving for red wine display. The van features a front counter – with space for two tills, a rapid cork dispenser at each end of the counter, a freezer for ice and specialist storage for Govino polymer wine glasses.
Simon Pauffley, Managing Director of Mobile Technik explains;
“The most exciting part of the project for us is that this will be the very first time a brand new Airstream International 534 trailer will have been fitted with a completely bespoke and unique interior, it’s the only one in the UK”
“We are working with The Wondering Wine Company to create these bespoke vehicles as well as handling all the logistics, storage and maintenance on these terrific vehicles. They wanted to create trailers that would be a feature at events, which fitted with the vintage brand, but were striking to event visitors.”
The Wondering Wine Company has been launched by wine wholesalers Bibendum wine ltd, to improve the way wine is served at events.
