Fisher Price goes airside with Blackjack
Leading infant and preschool toymaker Fisher-Price is going airside this summer with the unveiling of a children’s play area and UK retail outlet at Gatwick’s busy South Terminal.
Following consumer insight and parental feedback indicating a high demand for children’s entertainment while travelling, the manufacturer launched the play area and shop on the 28th July, just in time for the busy summer holiday travel time. It will remain open until 28th October.
The new retail space will serve families who journey through the South Terminal every year with popular toys from the Fisher-Price baby, infant and preschool collection. Meanwhile, the play area, which is designed for children from newborn to five years will compliment Gatwick's kids zones that were launched earlier this year.
For extra parental peace of mind the play area will be attended by fully trained, CRB-checked staff - all supplied by Blackjack Promotions.
Commenting on the company’s plans, Fisher-Price brand manager Nivi Bhide, said: “Travelling with children can be a very stressful time. The Fisher-Price play area will give parents an opportunity to relax while their tots try out some toys and the retail space will provide a range of toys at varying price points for travellers.” Sally Alington, managing director of Blackjack Promotions, added: “Projects like this go to show the depth of experience our promotional staffing resource can offer. It’s a pleasure for us to supply staff for an experience like this, and we hope this is going to make a real difference for people travelling with young children over the course of this summer.”
