Piaggio MP3s set to scoot round towns with Mobile Promotions
Mobile Promotions has won the contract to take Piaggio’s new MP3 scooter on a shopping centre launch tour. The MP3 is a three wheeled vehicle designed to give the power and freedom of riding a motorbike but only requiring a standard driver’s licence, rather than a motorcycle licence.
The tour will bring this innovative solution directly to its target market, urban dwellers nipping from place to place and commuting, with the opportunity for test drives. The MP3 can also be utilised by events professionals to travel round large sites quickly, efficiently and safely.
Mobile Promotions will manage the venues chosen, design and layout of the space as well as all the logistical considerations that need to be accounted for when working in the sensitive shopping centre environment.
Tom Holdsworth, account manager at Mobile Promotions explains:
“We are proud to be working alongside Piaggio to launch this fantastic new product. Our team will take to the road to create the brand environment and base for the tour. All logistics from travelling between locations to ensuring all legalities and safety regulations are accounted for will all be produced by our specialist team, who have over 25 years experience of working in this sector.”
The tour will visit Bluewater, St Stephens in Hull, Westfield Merryhill, Westfield London, Grand Arcade in Cambridge and Trafford Centre Manchester.
Lucy Hawkins, marketing executive for Piaggio adds:
“We have worked with Mobile Promotions for some time and have selected them as the partner for this project as they always deliver with reliable, excellent service. We are excited to embark on this tour together with this fantastic new product which makes getting on two wheels so easy with all the benefits of having four.”
