TLC Marketing acquires 3sixteen to offer full service
TLC Marketing Worldwide, the world’s leading incentive and promotion agency network, has announced the acquisition of UK marketing agency 3sixteen, in a move that will create a through the line offering for TLC Marketing’s UK business.
3sixteen’s founder and MD, Carey Trevill, will head up TLC Marketing’s 35-strong UK business which will absorb the majority of 3sixteen’s 10 creative, media and client service staff, as UK MD.
“This acquisition is a decisive step to augment TLC Marketing’s 50 years expertise in sales promotions and rewards with a full agency offering.
Our Paris office has doubled its business in the last 18 months since offering clients a full-campaign service and by acquiring 3sixteen, we now have that capability in the UK, at a stroke” says TLC founder and Group Chairman, Nick True. “Carey and her team are highly talented and the merged talent pool will set the template for our other offices around the world.”
New MD at TLC Marketing UK, Carey Trevill, says: “This move allows us to marry the ‘science’ of TLC Marketing’s sales promotion and rewards expertise with the ‘art’ of a full suite of agency services; strategic through-the-line campaigns across all disciplines from experiential and sales promotion to TV advertising.
