Teamhaven launches on Android
Teamhaven, the web and mobile device data collection, field management and reporting solution, has announced that it is now available on the Android platform with full versions active on all tablet sizes and smartphones.
According to Steve Grimes, director, Teamhaven, the Android platform was chosen for Teamhaven as it is preferred by many existing Teamhaven clients including several in the consumer electronics sector.
The Teamhaven software can be fully installed onto Android devices, meaning that reports can be made whilst offline - a great benefit to field staff who have to work in stores where online connection signals can be weak or unavailable.
“All the intelligence sits on the device,” says Grimes, “Once you are ready to sync, the information is easily uploaded.
Another nice aspect of Teamhaven is that PDFs and Powerpoint documentation can be brought together and sent out to be used alongside data collection. “Product training and management information can be detailed to reps alongside the relevant data collection surveys”, comments Grimes.
