RBS and NatWest customers praise Film First outdoor season
RBS customers in Scotland and NatWest customers south of the border have been enjoying moonlit screenings of new films at exclusive locations this summer as part of the Film First privilege programme. The events are put together by M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment and staffed by Kru Live.
The outdoor events have seen tickets sold exclusively to customers of the banks whilst the Film First project now continues indoors with limited availability free tickets being given to account holders who apply via the relevant websites.
The outdoor season of events have been received extremely well, with Facebook pages brimming with praise for the organisation, thoughtful touches and perfect customer service from staff. Guests have been attending these at manor house and parkland settings.
An online blog following the Glasgow screening of Super 8 at Pollok Park by popular blogger Southside Happenings reviewed their night:
“Last night we went along to one of the new Film First events that RBS are putting on for their customers. We weren't really sure what to expect but the idea of watching a movie outdoors in Pollok Park sounded like great fun and we both really fancied seeing Super 8.
Got to say the guys that organised the whole thing last night did a brilliant job. It was superbly organised with a ton of staff to guide and advise you when you arrived and big bold signage and pop up tents making the whole thing feel like a mini festival. We were greeted at the gate and then led through a series of wee tents where we were given two tubs of popcorn (one sweet, one salty), two bottles of water, free blue ponchos and these funny little cardboard seats which I initially thought would be rubbish but turned out to be really comfy. The staff found us a good central pitch and then sorted out our seats and made sure we were comfy. There was then a little film quiz and a wine merchant wandering around and handing out free samples of their products. It was just really professionally put together, with a lot of care of the small details, like the multitude of top of the line toilets, the well laid out site, the fact the surrounding trees had been back lit in green.”
Facebook fans have been full of praise with the most recent screening – on Friday night at Heaton Park near Manchester, generating immediate post-screening feedback. A typical example reads:
“What a fantastic night at Heaton Park last night, it was so well organised. What really stood out for me and my friends was the excellent service we rec'd from the staff working the event every one was helpful. The free wine, popcorn and water was a lovely gesture. Can't wait for the next event.”
The positive reaction has been received very well by NatWest and RBS executives.
M&C Saatchi Sports and Entertainment’s head of events, Catherine O’Brien, noted: “You only have to look on Facebook and Twitter to see how well it went.” She praised the team effort on location stating:”Such a good team and really making the whole project so seamless.”
Tom Eatenton, managing director, Kru Live is enjoying the feedback, adding: “They are a great client to work for who have budgeted to provide a really great experience for customers. Credit for the great staff teams at these events can be given to the inspirational event managers”
