Festival Awards’ sponsorship activation shortlist announced
The 2011 Festival Awards has announced a five agency and brand shortlist following the deliberations of a panel of elite judges. The judging process for the award was chaired by Frank Wainwright, editor of Fieldmarketing.com and Field Marketing and Brand Experience magazine, who also selected the judging panel (see below)
Judges witnessed a strong set of entries, producing a shortlist of 5 as follows:
- Capitalize - Bacardi
- Cake – Orange
- Frukt - Southern Comfort
- SBH Events – Volvo
- TRO – Lucozade
The winner will be announced at the pre-award’s conference, held at HMV Music on 15th November. The 3.30pm session at the conference will be moderated by Frank Wainwright and it will see a debate between sports and music sponsorship agencies, looking ahead to the best ways of spending brand event budgets in the Olympic summer.
Of the judging and shortlisted finalists Frank comments: “This award stirred a lot of interest amongst the judges, and was a real panel splitter. Each of the five finalists had strong advocates amongst the judges, a panel who are amongst the most influential people in the sector, representing clients, agencies, staffing and festival commercialisation."
