TeamHaven engaged to monitor Modern Warfare performance across Europe
Call of Duty MW3 is forecasted to be the biggest game of the year and Activision were keen to ensure that all their retailers had adequate stock and that all its in store promotional activity was correctly setup.
Activision Blizzard Inc is the worlds leading publisher of entertainment software across all the major operating platforms. Call of Duty is its most succesful franchise and Modern Warfare 3 is the latest title for 2011 .Spanning across Europe and working with all the major retailers, Activision wanted to highlight any significant issues quickly during the launch of Call of Duty MW3 (the game was launched across Europe on 8 November). In order to achieve this, TeamHaven was engaged by Activision to be deployed across Europe. Working with their respective field teams, TeamHaven was set up and deployed in a few weeks and tracks and monitors stock and promotional activity across Europe.
Following its success, Activision now plans to use TeamHaven throughout the year to track all its key titles across Europe.
Steve Grimes, CEO added “ Ensuring that products are in stock and that the right promotional activity is executed in the right store is vital to Activision, especially during the first 30 days of a product launch. TeamHaven is able to highlight the key issues to Activision so they can work with their retailers to correct any in store issues”.
TeamHaven has created a European reporting portal allowing management the ability to monitor its in store execution across all countries. The reporting portal provides dynamic interactive reports for both data and photo galleries.
