REL Field Marketing lauches brand launch service
Field marketing agency REL has announced the launch of REL Brands. The new division aims to support companies that want to launch products in the UK, but that do not have the infrastructure in place.
REL Brands will be tapping into the companies’ expert knowledge and experience of trade marketing and sales throughout the FMCG sector to help brands establish themselves in the UK market. The agency will also be forming strategic partnerships to cover any aspects of the process that it cannot directly handle itself; for example, it has already partnered with Cert Octavian for logistics, and will be working with other agencies within the Photon Group, such as Frank Pr and Naked, as and when needed.
“We will be establishing and building brands in the UK through clever retail marketing, distribution and sales, utilising the wealth of experience we have gained at REL through working with brands like Red Bull,” said REL’s chief executive David Norbury. “Our aim is to become a one-stop shop for brands wanting to launch into the UK or to give companies an alternative if they are not happy with their existing support.”
REL Brands is already representing three unique products within the UK, which are due to launch over the next few months: a range of Italian wines, called Intrepid, that have been produced from the same vines in Italy for thousands of years; a super-premium Vodka called Vox, part of the Jim Beam stable; and a 100% non-diluted pomegranate juice.
“These are all new to market premium beverages, and we are currently talking to an upmarket tea brand about joining our roster,” added Norbury. “For the moment we are certainly looking at staying in beverages sector.”
