Destinations in FMBE
'Destinations' is an industry first - a 'Blogject'. In it our invited guests will write down their thoughts on a topic from within the face to face marketing arena that they are keen to see aired. There will be regular updates.
Unlike most blogs though, the blog is just the beginning of the process. We will count the number of unique readers of each blog in its first full month online using reader numbers as a guideline so that a printed collection of 40 top bloggers can be published and circulated as a special supplement for FMBE magazine readers in April. They will get a snapshot of the industry from 2011-12 from the most witty and sought after opinions in FMBE from all around the world from brand owners, consultants, agency leaders and industry suppliers. This supplement will be edited by Frank Wainwright and the blogs brought together with a continuity narrative.
'Destinations' will start off as a set of separate ingredients - topics from across the range of FMBE loosely categorised for ease of website use by the destination(s) or venue(s) the blogger's insight mostly or severally applies to. The categorisation process will help build some continuity, And the end result? A powerful book of 40 opinions that will be full of thought leadership in FMBE.
We're inviting people all through the year to take part. If you think you'd be a good blogger for it, let us know. BUT don't bother if you want to sell something. Your contact details can go up with the blog if you wish, but sales pitches and job applications won't be accepted!
